Ardo and Mire are going on an outing. They are going to visit Laas Geel to see the ancient cave paintings and to visit their grandmother, ayeeyo Degmo, who lives nearby.
They think the cave paintings are very interesting, and what makes the visit even more exciting is meeting an archaeologist who can tell them a lot about them.
In the afternoon, they go to ayeeyo Degmo’s home. They help her with the milking. In the evening, after a delicious dinner, they play hide-and-seek with the children in the village. Before it is time to go to bed, ayeeyo tells them one of the many stories she knows.
Before heading home the next day, they also have time to go to a celebration!
